CMS Exhibits at Arkansas Sheriffs Association Convention

Company Showcases Healthcare Service Offerings to State and Local Corrections Officials

St. Louis - August 24, 2009

Press Release Sheriffs AssociationCMS managers Kenny Justiniano and Belinda Whitley greet attendees at the ASA convention.

Correctional Medical Services, Inc. (CMS) recently completed a successful exhibition at the Arkansas Sheriffs Association 2009 Summer Convention, meeting with current clients in the region and networking with corrections officials from across the state.

The annual meeting was held July 26 – July 29 in Hot Springs, Arkansas and was sponsored by the Arkansas Sheriffs Association (ASA). ASA members include 75 Sheriffs and more than 1,200 Deputies.

CMS sponsored an exhibit booth at the meeting, hosted by Kenny Justiniano, Jails II Regional Manager and Belinda Whitley, Regional Director of Nursing for Arkansas. Both managers said the conference was an excellent opportunity to meet with corrections officials from across the state and discuss the wide range of healthcare services CMS provides.

“As the correctional healthcare provider for the Arkansas Department of Corrections, we feel the ASA convention is a great way for us to meet with our Sheriff clients and discuss our services with other potential client partners as well,” said Justiniano. “It’s been a good opportunity to connect with Arkansas corrections officials, and I think everyone has enjoyed meeting and sharing ideas with one another.”
CMS has provided comprehensive medical, dental and mental health services to the Arkansas Department of Corrections since 1997, managing a customized healthcare program and on-site medical unit for each of the state’s 25 prison facilities.
